How To Shift Your Reality With Simple Questions

I know, as always, I am one of the quickest with these wishes. 😆

But since this is my first blog post of 2024, the year really starts now. And it starts with an absolute banger! Just as you’ve come to expect from your Superhero Tobi! 🦸‍♂️

Today, after a long time, we’re finally talking about mindset stuff again. (my secret little passion) I want to show you how to shift your reality with simple questions.

What you’ll learn here could literally turn your whole life upside down. But beware: You also have to do a little something for it. 😉

What exactly? You’ll find out in this article. Read it carefully from top to bottom!

Understanding the Power of Your Subconscious

Since everyone is at a different level of understanding, I’ll start with the basics that determine our lives as humans.

Thoughts and feelings determine your outer reality. The more you think about a particular thing and the more you feel associated feelings, the more likely that thing will manifest in your life.

Your current reality is essentially the sum of your past thoughts and feelings – your frequency. And through this, you’ve attracted and manifested everything that has happened in your life so far.

The good things, as well as the bad things. All of this was a result of your state of being + the external circumstances that flowed into you and your resulting subconscious programming.

Your consciousness determines only 5% of your life, while your subconscious influences and controls 95% of your life significantly.

So, to change your life, it requires reprogramming your subconscious.

I could explain all of this much more extensively – why, how, and for what reason this is so, but I don’t want to stretch the frame unnecessarily.

If you want to learn more about it and understand why and how it all works and the science behind it, I wholeheartedly recommend reading Dr. Joe Dispenza’s books. He wrote 4 at the moment. Start with the one from 2007 and then read  the rest chronologically.

The Simplicity of Inner Transformation

The question now is, how do you access the subconscious and program it in the desired way?

  • For example, how do you think and feel wealth instead of lack?
  • How do you feel happiness instead of depression?
  • How do you feel love instead of hate?
  • How do you become healthy instead of sick?
  • How do you attract all the positive things into your life, if you’ve only known suffering so far?

The answer is as simple as life itself, and perhaps this answer might even make you a little angry if you’ve experienced a lot of hardship so far.

But it’s precisely this simplicity that is the secret, hidden from people through distractions in the external world. The key is repetition.

So, all you have to do is practice and repeat the desired new dream reality often enough until it becomes the truth.

The Affirmation Advantage: Supercharge Your Life with Positive Language

In professional jargon, this tool with which you can do just that is called affirmations. Many of you might already be familiar with them and have heard of them or even applied them.

For those of you who have never heard of them, let me explain briefly.

Affirmations are positively formulated sentences that, through regular repetition, cause the nerve pathways in your brain to form new connections and thus manifest new things in your life.

To have some practical examples, here are a few affirmations:

I am enough.
I am worthy of living this life.
I control my thoughts in the direction I choose.
I am the creator of my world.
I love my body profoundly, deeply, and joyously.
My body has its own wisdom, and I fully trust it.
I become more beautiful and shinier every day.
I am love and compassion.
I love the way I feel when I take care of myself.
Today, my well-being is my main priority.
I completely trust my inner voice.
The more I get to know myself, the clearer it becomes what my life’s purpose is.
Today, I follow my heart, and I discover my destiny.
I am calm.
Today, my mission is to be a better person for myself and for others.
I am love.
I am ready for a real and love-filled relationship.

I copied these examples from one of my all-time favorite video.

Obviously, there are infinitely many possible sentences on all imaginable topics that one could come up with.

It’s important to note that you also have to follow some rules if you plan to come up with your own affirmations! One of the most well-known mistakes to avoid is saying: I am not sick. The focus is on sick, and your subconscious will ignore the word ‘not’. Always formulate positively instead: I am healthy.

If you repeat these positive sentences through writing, listening, or conscious thinking and visualizing several times a day, new subconscious belief patterns will develop and change your life.

Some of you may have been very bored with this article so far because you already know all of this.

However, there’s a little twist to the whole story that is less popular. And I’d like to discuss that today.

Cracking the Code: Why Some Affirmations Fail and Others Succeed

As someone who has been applying these things for over 5 years now, I can say from personal experience that affirmations actually work and can be highly effective.

However, I’ve noticed that some things are very difficult to make work, or don’t work at all, while others bring results much faster than others.

This depends on numerous personal factors, such as subconscious blockages and how you apply your affirmations.

About two years ago, I stumbled upon something that makes absolute sense.

Let me explain it best with an example:

Let’s say you currently weigh 120kg and have now decided to finally lose weight. You’re now happily considering an affirmation because you’ve learned that through repetition, your outer reality will adjust. So far, so correct. Your devised affirmation reads:
I am happy and grateful to weigh 80kg.

While this is theoretically absolutely possible, as a person weighing 120kg, whether you like it or not, you have an extreme block against this statement, which represents a strong obvious lie of your current reality.

You say or hear this affirmation, and 10 minutes later you look in the mirror and see all your fat rolls. 😐 Eventually, you won’t be able to believe this nonsense about 80kg anymore and you’ll order a cheeseburger… The downward spiral begins.

I’m not claiming that it has to or will happen to EVERYONE exactly like this, but the probability is damn high.

And now to my discovery from a few years ago. What if I tell you that there is a way to trick your consciousness and subconsciousness a little and make you feel like you’re not lying to yourself with these affirmations and sliding past your blockages?

Ask and You Shall Achieve: The Magic of Askfirmations

Tadaaa, that’s exactly possible, namely by simply reformulating our affirmations into questions, the so-called Afformations/Askfirmations.

In our previous example, it would then look like this, for example:

Why am I happy and grateful to weigh 80kg?
How did I manage to weigh 80kg with gratitude?

Do you recognize the difference? This “I am” statement, which will sound like a farce to a person weighing 120kg, suddenly became a harmless question. It’s no longer a feigned fact, but a simple, straightforward question.

And asking questions should be allowed, right? 😉

This way, the resistance is eliminated, and your subconscious will no longer be busy blocking and trying to prove to the overweight person that he is a hopeless fat case, but instead, the subconscious will try to find and present an answer to these questions in the outer reality… et voilà, the kilos will start dropping sooner or later.

A Small Trick With A Big Impact

I’ve been using this technique for some time now and can report from my own experience that it works surprisingly well. (Otherwise, I wouldn’t have written this post here haha) However, I didn’t have weight issues. I asked questions about money, love, happiness, health, and such things.

Not everything I ask my subconscious has come true 100% yet, but many things indeed have. I was recently extremely thrilled when I realized how my questions became reality.

But this is also not a miracle pill that you take today and ensures that you wake up tomorrow morning in a land of plenty with all your dreams fulfilled. Anyone who wants to tell you something like that is an idiot!!

Just like with affirmations, it only works through daily repetition hundreds/thousands of times!! Tattoo it on your forehead: REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION!!!

Depending on how big the difference is between your current reality and your desired one, it will take longer or shorter. I have found in myself that I usually feel positive emotions internally very quickly and tangible changes on the outside may take some time.

The Synchronicity Effect: Transforming Questions into Opportunities

However, it can happen relatively quickly that so-called synchronicities and opportunities appear in your life, where you don’t initially realize that they have anything to do with the questions you asked yourself.

An example of this would be:
Suppose you’ve been asking yourself the following question for days and weeks:
Why am I gratefully receiving an additional $3000 into my account every month?

Let’s assume this question works in your subconscious through repeated hundred to thousandfold repetition. Then one fine day, you’re surfing the internet, thinking nothing much of it, land on X (Twitter) seemingly randomly on the profile of megadigitaldream, click on the website linked there, and land exactly here.

Suddenly you see on this blog various posts about making money online, see how Tobi (myself) talks about it, see that he recommends the Affiliate Marketers Playbook to people who want to build an online business, buy it, and realize that with the concepts explained in there, you can build a side income that will fulfill your dream of an additional $3000 and more monthly.

On the one hand, you might now think: Very cleverly integrated promotion, Tobi. – And you’re right! 🤣 On the other hand, I can guarantee you that it will happen EXACTLY LIKE THAT. All these little opportunities will suddenly be revealed to you, and you will perceive them much more strongly.

Of course, then it’s up to you to seize the opportunity and take action! No one will knock on your door and ask if you’re up for $3000. Therefore, you should use these seemingly “random” opportunities that arise.

And that’s how it works with and for all topics, even in our other example with losing weight. If the person asks this question, they will suddenly perceive offers for gyms nearby, perhaps even with a big discount. – all coincidences? No! It is the conscious adjustment of the outer reality through inner changes and repeated focus on the desired goal!

Putting Theory into Practice: Implementing Askfirmations in Your Daily Life

You might be wondering how exactly you should implement this. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to that because each of us is a little different, and you have to find out for yourself what works best for you.

You can write down your affirmations or questions several times a day and then read them through. You can think about them mentally, you can simply speak them out loud, etc.

What works best for me personally is listening to them.

For example, to fall asleep, I listened to the video I linked above with the I am affirmations for weeks.

With the questions, I handle it by coming up with my own questions, writing them down, and then recording them with a microphone, turning them into an MP3 file, and listening to my own questions every day, for example, while going for a walk.

So you can do exactly that too. This is one of the best ways when listening to your own affirmations and questions. If you don’t have an external microphone, you can record with your phone for the time being.

Note: The more different topics and questions you ask yourself every day, the longer it may take for them to take effect. The good thing about many different questions is that it might not be as boring to listen to. So, I actually asked myself many questions about several topics for a long time.

Currently, however, I’m trying out what it’s like to repeat just one question permanently.

Silent Success: The Power of Subliminal Technology

But Tobi, what if I absolutely can’t stand listening to the same questions to myself all day long? I can’t bear it, Tobi!! Help!!

Okok, calm down. I understand that. And I wouldn’t be Superhero Tobi if I didn’t have a solution for that too. 🦸

The solution is called Subliminals. With this technology, recorded sentences and questions can be transformed into a frequency range that is inaudible to humans. This means that you can make an audio file silent in which the questions were previously heard.

When you listen to this silent audio file, you hear nothing and YET the questions work and are perceived by the subconscious. So you can repeat these things a thousand times without being annoyed by them.

However, to apply this effect, you need a few programs. I bought something like this on the German market.

Therefore, I cannot recommend or link it here. But as mentioned earlier, since I’m sort of your personal superhero, I took the liberty of checking out what’s available on the English market for you.

That’s when I remembered a company I was already familiar with, which is pretty good, and as luck would have it, they offer subliminal software. It looks very promising, if you ask me.

However this is only an additional help and not a must. I have found that it is also very effective to listen to them aloud. For example, even when falling asleep – you’re not actively listening all the time anyway.

If you’re a total beginner in this whole topic and/or still very skeptical, I recommend listening to videos by others first. There you’ll get plenty of inspiration and can also achieve good results.
